Technology Integration Manager
Position Summary
The Technology Integration Manager leads the effective integration, administration, and use of educational technology across the district. This role supports educators and staff in leveraging technology to strengthen teaching, learning, and operational effectiveness while ensuring secure, accessible, and well-maintained digital environments.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, innovative, and people-centered leader who can translate technology into meaningful instructional outcomes. This individual will provide professional development and coaching, manage technology initiatives and resources, evaluate educational technology solutions, and partner with district and academy leaders to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
The position requires strong customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and change-management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple high-priority and time-sensitive responsibilities. Frequent travel between MAS campuses is required.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Integration & Leadership
- Serve as the district-level expert and primary resource for Google Workspace for Education and other instructional technology platforms.
- Provide training, coaching, consultation, and ongoing support to educators and staff.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the district's Digital Learning Plan and related technology initiatives.
- Research, evaluate, curate, and recommend educational technology tools and resources aligned to district goals.
- Establish and support collaborative teams focused on technology integration and student digital literacy.
- Use student achievement, staff feedback, technology usage, and other data to evaluate effectiveness and inform recommendations.
- Develop short- and long-term technology integration strategies aligned to MAS's mission and goals.
- Stay current on emerging educational technology trends, including AI and digital learning tools.
- Represent MAS at educational technology conferences, professional networks, and working groups.
- Identify innovative solutions that improve teaching, learning, and operational efficiency.
Staff Development
- Design and facilitate professional development focused on effective technology integration.
- Identify training needs using classroom, student, staff, and school data.
- Support educators in effectively integrating technology into instruction.
- Monitor implementation and provide follow-up coaching and support.
Technology Operations & Support
- Maintain an accurate inventory of technology equipment and supplies and coordinate purchases as needed.
- Support the Technology Systems Administrator with device management, repairs, and hardware needs.
- Assist with communicating and training staff on appropriate technology use and related policies.
- Help ensure technology systems and digital learning environments are secure, accessible, and effectively utilized.
- Coordinate with district leaders, academy leaders, teachers, staff, and the Technology Systems Administrator to address technology needs.
- Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and laws and maintain confidentiality.
Leadership & Change Management
- Develop practical implementation plans for new technology initiatives and systems.
- Communicate changes, expectations, and technology updates effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Build staff buy-in and address resistance to change.
- Monitor implementation, evaluate outcomes, and make adjustments as needed.
- Respond to staff requests in a timely, professional, and solution-oriented manner.
- Identify and resolve problems proactively and efficiently.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Compliance and Operations Officer, C-level staff, school administration, or Technology Systems Administrator.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education, including Google Admin Console, Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.
- Experience with Clever, PowerSchool, and other school-based technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of instructional technology and its impact on teaching and student learning.
- Ability to coach and develop educators with varying levels of technology proficiency.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use findings to improve technology integration and outcomes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage change, build relationships, and gain stakeholder buy-in.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Three or more years of successful teaching experience preferred.
- Experience leading technology integration, educational technology initiatives, or professional development preferred.
- Experience supporting educators in the effective use of technology preferred.
- Experience working in a K–12 educational environment strongly preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other educational technology platforms.
