Siebert, founder of Milwaukee Electric Tool, Siebert Lutheran Foundation is a faith-based grantmaking organization that strengthens Lutheran ministries, congregations, schools, and nonprofits in Wisconsin. The Opportunity

Siebert Lutheran Foundation is seeking an experienced hourly Marketing/Communications Consultant to support our mission on a remote basis (approximately 8 hours per month). Projects will be assigned on a monthly basis and may vary depending on communications needs.

Scope of Work

  • Social media: Create reels and short-form video content from existing photos and footage using Instagram, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Image and media editing: Resize, crop, and edit images and video clips for use across platforms
  • Design: Design event collateral, such as programs and PowerPoint presentations
  • Website: Update and publish content, including blog posts and event landing pages
  • Writing and copyediting: Create, edit, and proofread content for the website, newsletter, and print materials; repurpose content across platforms while maintaining brand consistency
  • AI: Experience and/or interest in learning how to create efficiencies and streamline marketing efforts using AI Projects or Workspaces, within approved protocols and policies.
  • Metrics: Run analytics/reports showing marketing metrics across social media, website, and newsletter platforms.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media, website management, writing, and basic image editing,
  • Proficiency in Social platforms, Wix and Canva preferred,
  • Comfortable using AI tools to repurpose and edit content, including images and video,
  • Reliable, deadline-oriented, comfortable with working independently, and able to anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions,
  •  Ability to collaborate with staff to translate program updates and events into compelling communications content, and
  • An active Christian faith commitment is preferred.

Consulting fees

Range of $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
