Seeking applicants for a Director of Major Gifts to develop long-term philanthropic relationships with alumni, parents, and community members. Candidates should exhibit a high level of integrity, be results-driven, and self-motivated.
Major gift officers meet with current and prospective donors to share the vision and mission of Carthage College for the purpose of soliciting financial support. Successful work in this role will include ten to twelve donor visits per month to meet fundraising goals. Candidates should be familiar with the donor cycle of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Additionally this role works closely with colleagues across the College to develop and implement key fundraising strategies. As Carthage concludes the $100 million Light that Travels comprehensive campaign, key funding priorities include student scholarships, program innovation funds, and several capital projects
